Vigleik Storaas Solo

Barokkfest presents one of the most significant present Norwegian performers within the grand tradition of piano jazz, Vigleik Storaas. Storaas takes the audience on a journey into the wonderful, manifold and intriguing universe of the piano. Departing from some of Bach’s greatest variation works for a solo instrument, the mesmerizing Goldberg variations, Storaas performs his own variations through the language of jazz. Bach, after all, was primarily famous for his improvisations.
