The Persecution of Christians under Rome

LECTURE

Under the title “The Persecution of the Christians under Rome” James Corke-Webster will reconsider what the Romans saw as a war on terror, and which we know as the pagans’ notorious atrocities towards the Christians. Were the persecutions a way to fight terror? What does that say about “wars on terror” in general? And if not, why? James Corke-Webster, lecturer at King’s College London, will offer some of the latest news within this captivating field of history. This lecture is held in English.
