Masterclass: Classics and Christianity

The master-class “Classics and Christianity” deals with the rise of Christianity in pagan antiquity. How could such an alien element as the monotheistic Christianity emerge from such a polytheistic culture as that of Ancient Rome? And why did it end up outbidding all the other Roman religions? James Corke-Webster, lecturer at King’s College London, will offer fascinating answers to these questions in his master-class. This master-class will be in English.
