Oratorio: Händel Messiah, Dublin version

Experience the first version of Handel’s eternal masterpiece. Reflecting on the story of suffering and triumph of Christ, this work offers probably one of the most comprehensive sacred music approaches to the question of the individual, the universal and the boundaries of human coexistence. The Barokkfest production brings us closer to the first performance with the number of singers Händel had at hand.

The line-up includes some truly beautiful voices, with Marie Perbost, Anthea Pichanick, Samuel Boden and the amazing Norwegian baryton Håvard Stensvold.
