Festival theme: Chiaroscuro

The main theme of the 2019 edition of the Barokkfest festival is “chiaroscuro”, underscoring the connections between the marvels of renaissance and baroque painting, and the highly expressive musical language of the music from those same periods. The theme is explored through concerts and talks by specially invited specialists on art and music.
