Antique Drama in Norwegian
The plots in most modern film successes can, with almost no exception, be led back to the antique theatre’s two main genres: comedy and tragedy. Soon, two of antiquity’s theatre pieces, the comedy Svigermoren and the tragedy Hekabe, will soon be published in Norwegian. There will be both humour and blood-dripping earnest when the translators Iris Aasen Brecke and Robert Emil Berge tells of the dramatic tradition of antiquity!
(The event is in Norwegian.)
