Barokkfest closes with a concert starring the internationally praised mezzo soprano, Ann Hallenberg, and TSO Tidlig, the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra’s own baroque orchestra. Join us for an evening of opera gems from Händel’s universe!

Swedish Ann Hallenberg has been hailed as one of the greatest voices in baroque opera and has been referred to as “the Queen of Baroque”. Together with Hallenberg, TSO Tidlig and conductor Magnus Fryklund, Barokkfest has put together a spectacular program of gems from Händel’s operas: Teseo, Acis and Galatea, Arianna and Hercules. What they all have in common is that they are inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses. The concert ends with the elevating scene “Where shall I fly” from Hercules.
